It is also well equipped with a variety of facilities, and the departure area is well structured for use by all its passengers. Menorca Airport departures are offered by a number of airline companies to a wide range of domestic and international destinations.

Passengers on departure flights from Menorca Airport have a couple of means of transport from which to choose in order to reach the airport. Several bus companies, and buses serve the island from the Mahón station travel frequently to the airport. Mahón is the capital city of Menorca, and is one of the most popular cities on the island, with a number of important attractions for its visitors. The Torres Alles bus company operates three routes to Menorca Airport, one of which is a more direct option, while the other two circle though the city and along the outskirts of the city, stopping at the airport en-route. Passengers travelling from other areas of the island can take TMSA buses to Mahón, which travel from cities and towns such as Ciutadella, found on the western coast of the island. Autos Fornells is one of the other important bus operators in Menorca.

By taxi is popular way to travel to the airport, and taxis are available from all areas of the island. Although more expensive than the bus services, taxis are a quicker way to reach your departure flight. Passengers in their own vehicles will find short-term and long-term parking options at Menorca Airport. The main airport access road is the ME-14, which is linked to the ME-12 running into the city of Mahón. The ME-1 is the main highway of the island, starting at Ciutadella, and is constructed virtually down the centre of Menorca, ending in the capital city. It is also linked to the ME-14. The road leading from the northern areas of the island is the ME-7. Particularly nearby the airport is Es Castell, as well as the prominent areas of Punta Prima, Los Lomas and Binibèquer.
